Innoviz Technologies Ltd. launched its latest LiDAR, InnovizThree. InnovizThree has slimmer dimensions and lower power consumption while delivering higher performance at a lower price than InnovizTwo. The updated design is intended to support integration behind the windshield or on the rooftop, giving automakers more flexibility in vehicle design.
InnovizThree combines increased sensing capability and efficiency with automotive-grade reliability. It is designed to scale across vehicle fleets and support next-generation autonomous systems.
Key features of InnovizThree include:
- A slimmer body weighing 600 grams, with smaller lateral dimensions that support installation in the roof interior, behind the windshield, or in the front grille, giving OEMs more flexibility. The form factor also suits AI-enabled platforms such as humanoids, micro robotics and drones.
- A lower cost, reduced by more than 35% compared with InnovizTwo, while improving long-distance accuracy and perception with detection ranges beyond 250 meters.
