ENCY partners with CAMSUPS to enter Japan market

CAMSUPS will run a Jan.–March 2026 launch and expand support, selling through Japan machine tool traders and channels.

CAMSUPS is led by Taiji Sano, who founded JBM in 1970 and has decades of manufacturing software experience in Japan. In the early 1990s, his team supported the introduction of a CAM product to the Japanese market, building experience in CAD/CAM implementation, training, and customer support for local manufacturing operations.

ENCY Software and CAMSUPS moved from initial contact to technical evaluation, followed by an in-person meeting around EMO in Germany. The companies finalized a signed agreement and a go-to-market plan. Through CAMSUPS, ENCY will work with a local partner familiar with Japan’s manufacturing environment.

From January through March 2026, CAMSUPS will run a product launch campaign and expand customer support capacity by adding staff, including technical specialists. CAMSUPS will bring ENCY to market through Japan’s network of machine tool trading companies and channel partners.

Japan combines a large machine-tool ecosystem with high levels of automation. The Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association (JMTBA) reports ¥1,485.1 billion in total machine tool orders in 2024. Japan ranked 5th globally in robot density and was the second-largest market for industrial robot installations in 2024, with 44,500 units. For ENCY, which focuses on unified CNC and robot programming, these factors indicate demand for both machining and automation.
